Understand the material choices

Concrete LCA brings concrete mix design and environmental assessment into an interactive calculator for students, educators and professionals exploring material choices.

Adjust strength, slump, exposure conditions, binders, aggregates and water, then review the calculated quantities. Compare manufacturing and transport emissions, material circularity and estimated cost per cubic metre.

Save, compare and share

Start with a worked example or create a mix of your own. Customise materials and assumptions, save named mixes, compare alternatives and export PDF reports. Saved mixes and custom material data are kept locally for offline use and can sync through your private iCloud account.

Results depend on the selected methodology and material data. Concrete LCA supports learning and comparative assessment; project-specific design decisions require independent verification.

Availability

Concrete LCA is being prepared for a free public release on the App Store. A download link will be added here once it is available.
