Concrete LCA — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 September 2026

Concrete LCA is developed by Grant Freeman at Freeman Labs, using the original calculator and methodology by Dr Lloyd Dadd.

Your calculations and saved work

Calculations run on your device. The app stores your current inputs, saved mixes, custom materials and preferences locally so you can work offline.

If iCloud is available, saved mixes and custom material data sync through your private iCloud database using Apple CloudKit. This data is associated with your Apple Account and is used to keep your own devices in sync. It is not published to a public database or sent to a Freeman Labs server. Freeman Labs does not have access to other users’ private CloudKit records through its developer account.

Earlier versions used iCloud key-value storage. The app reads those existing values to migrate your library and keeps local backup copies during migration. It does not write new changes to the old iCloud store.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

Concrete LCA contains no advertising, tracking technologies or third-party analytics SDKs. It does not send your calculations or app activity to Freeman Labs for analytics or marketing. Apple may process service and diagnostic information under its own privacy policies and your device settings.

PDF reports are created on your device. A report is shared with the destination you choose using the system sharing controls. Reports may include mix names, inputs and material information, so review them before sharing.

Links to websites open external pages whose privacy practices may differ from those of the app.

Managing your data

You can delete saved mixes and reset or remove custom material entries in the app. Deletion markers and recoverable versions may be retained to prevent stale devices from restoring deleted work or overwriting another device’s changes. You can review and dismiss recoverable versions in the iCloud sync screen.

You can manage the app’s iCloud access and stored iCloud data through Apple’s account and device settings. Local copies, migration backups and exported reports may remain on a device after cloud data is removed. Exported reports must be deleted separately from wherever you saved or shared them. Reinstalling the app may restore data that is still held in iCloud.

Changes

This policy will be updated if the app’s data practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
