Psychology, AI and a reason to apply both.
My doctoral research explores computational approaches to cellular adaptation and treatment response in cancer. Public details are limited while the work is under development and will expand following publication or approval for release.
My master's research examined explainable machine learning and class-imbalance methods for predicting chronic-disease outcomes from adverse childhood experiences.
I began in operational and banking leadership before returning to university to study psychological science, artificial intelligence and machine learning. That path continues to shape how I think about evidence, responsibility and the people affected by technical decisions.

Beyond the work
Away from a screen I am usually outdoors, whether that means nature, the coast, hiking, fitness or skiing. I also spend time thinking about philosophy, space and physics, and enjoy board games and the company of dogs.

A quiet connection to Jake Zachary.
The small silhouette at the top of each page is Jake Zachary, my late black Labrador and soul dog. I miss him dearly.
It is traced from a photograph of him standing alert on the coast with his tail raised. The mark is carried through the site as a quiet way home.
